Walking the sandy shores of today,
yesterday's expanse stretches behind,
faded footprints, memories in time,
washing away, blowing away,
as the sands of time shift and merge.
Tomorrow's promise stretches ahead,
the myriad of infinite tangled possibilities
that I walk towards
as today's sun recedes
and tomorrow's advances.
